I'll have to listen to it again, but I don't doubt your statement. Isn't the solo in that song like six minutes long though?
Also, wasn't that song #1 in your country for like 473 weeks in a row?
The first solo is actually quite short. But there's an extended solo in the end part of the album version which is longer, but still not that long. I don't generally listen to the guitars on stuff that carefully, so I was surprised how free of self-indulgence it was when I went back just now.
And yes, it was. It was ridiculous. Almost everyone here is turned off the song for exactly that reason. I must be the only person left who loves it. Oh, and my dad.

That's not a bad showing at all for B. Adams.

This:
15th - Worcester (Boston area)
16th - Worcester (Boston area)
18th - NYC
19th - NYC
21st - Philly
22nd - Philly <--- 23rd anniversary of first PJ show
...is a pretty good run of shows. If this is their final big run through their major markets in the northeastern US, it's a good one.

Yeah, I picture this band playing until someone dies.

That gives them enough time to make a low-fi masterpiece.

11 days and no openers for most of the shows. This is cutting it close.

So the last floor/GA I was at was Randall's Island in NY in '96. We were there super early, in the front row, but as soon as the band came on we soon lost our place as a swath of humanity pressed us against the fence.
Does that happen during this tour? Cause I was just planning on showing up late at the venue and just finding my way to the front.

the ga area will at best be half of the floor im sure, so even if you are at the back of it you will be in pretty good shape

Didn't someone say it was only going to be the first third or even less?

i think it was gonna depend on how many tickets they sold since its ten club only, so it will be bigger in some places and smaller in others

Right, makes even more sense. I guess I'll see in Worcester on Oct. 15 and can have a better understanding for Oct. 25 in Hartford.

Check out StubHub for seating charts. I am skeptical that PJ/10c would change the venue's standard "mixed floor" layout dramatically given that computer-based ticketing systems are used.
