I'd believe that. While I was disappointed with the album I haven't lost faith in her as an artist. She made a deliberate aesthetic choice and pursued a direction I didn't enjoy, but it was purposeful.

Also, she's just a really down to earth, intelligent, thoughtful person. It's hard not to respond positively to someone like her even when her artistic choices challenge or even disappoint.

But man! She was so snarly and passionate. Golden Age and Witch Wolf were especially potent. The crowd cheered louder than any other point in the evening when she sang the line about punching a Nazi in the face. It was a smaller crowd but people were listening and responding and the whole room had a great energy.

Shouting At The Dark was playing over the sound system at DC's Union Station as I was waiting for my train back to NYC. That's the first time I've ever heard The Mynabirds out in public. It was amazing. I got all tingly and hyper.

I'm gonna go ahead and say yes.
I like that I can look at a recent Mynabirds tweet and recognize both avatars that liked it so far.

I spun Lovers Know again the other day. Firs time in a while. What a great record. I was shocked how potent it was. Pretty sure it's in the #2 slot on my rankings now. I even really enjoyed One Foot a lot.
