I didn’t care for Silver & Gold as a 22 year old and never really went back to it until today (on this full studio catalogue journey). It’s fantastic. And Razor Love might be a must have for any playlist.

I am now through Chrome Dreams II. I am quite hopeful I will get to the end of his albums by the time COLORADO comes out.

It’s been a great experience in large part because I had major gaps that I had not heard. I became interested in. his music in the mid-90s - about the time a kid should really get into classic rock, and because he keeps releasing albums and archives, I was a bit overwhelmed at the prospect of hearing everything. I probably heard about a third of his catalogue in advance of the journey so I discovered a lot of music I would have never gotten around to without doing this. That being said, I have been through a few phases of Neil exhaustion from the sheer quantity.

Have you already talked about Rust Never Sleeps? I didn't find that one, in full, until 6 years ago when I moved to Colorado. I played it on repeat for the 26 hour drive and it left an indelible mark on me.

my 2 cents on rust never sleeps is that it contains the best song ever, thrasher, which I could listen to for 26 straight hours and maybe have before..thats all

I enjoyed both. I mean Ordinary People and No Hidden Path immediately grab your attention, but I was really enjoying The Way which was so much lighter at the end. Also, Dirty Old Man is a really fun song!

The way that the album opens and closes is perfect.

FYI, Fork in the Road is much better than people give credit for. Yes, it is about an electric car, but I actually am enjoying most of these songs individually.
