You're right, I root for a team with the only non-big man superstar ever that doesn't get anything close to resembling star calls.

He was terrible today. That comment was a general statement of the way it is. But even today with him playing passively and poorly, there were multiple whistles he clearly should have gotten at the basket. The officiating was terrible today, but I'm saying in general LeBron gets NOTHING like Jordan, Kobe, or Durant calls.

Sometimes Lebron suffers from the same thing Shaq did in his prime. He is so damn strong that a lot of contact doesn't seem to get whistled because it doesn't affect his shot.

I whined about the officials yesterday, but I just want to say that I realize the Heat are generally net beneficiaries on 50/50 calls.

There was a stretch with about two minutes to go of what I perceived as 3 brutal calls in a row that really pissed me off. (C'mon verb, we both know that Noah play is physically impossible with 0.9 seconds left) But that's the exception, not the rule and it's going to happen. If LeBron had showed up AT ALL yesterday it wouldn't have mattered.

The worst part of all of this is I can't even fully enjoy mocking the Pacers, because they seem to be unraveling. I'm sure they'll be fine in the long run, but I'd like the chance to get to really enjoy this stretch.

Seems like all of the elite teams are going through a bit of a funk (minus the Spurs who are finally healthy). It happens. The Pacers diminishing offense is worrisome.

Yep. The Heat and Thunder will both be fine, but the Pacers may never recover that look they had a couple of months ago. Of course, they still could beat Miami, but I could also see the Bulls taking the Pacers to the very brink and possibly beyond. Please, oh please, let the seeding work out so that we get Indy-Chicago in the 2nd round.

I hope its Bulls/Pacers as well. The Bulls cannot hang in a 7 game series with Miami but I genuinely think they can beat the Pacers, especially with Taj Gibson emerging and Jimmy Butler rounding back into a form a little. Boozer getting slaughtered by David West becomes less of an issue with Taj getting more and more minutes....

The Bulls definitely could beat the Pacers. I don't know if they would actually beat them, but I could see some 76-73 games with both teams shooting 35%.

Is there any chance Rose could be back by the playoffs? I haven't heard diddly about him in the last few months.

I really doubt it...... I can't imagine he won't be healthy by the second round though but I bet he still doesn't play.

Rockets/Thunder was a great watch. Despite their recent struggles, I still think this is OKC's year. Durant is just out of this fucking world.

The whole Phil Jackson thing for New York is going to be meaningless for them.

There aren't enough numbers to reflect defensive talent. I will admit the George hyperbole has been a bit much this year, but there is no denying he is a special 2-way player that is only going to get better.
