Honestly, I liked them giving Tara a little actual personality and didn't hate the episode. It was slow for sure, but I didnt mind it.

I just hate it from the point of advancing the overall story. Tara has had more screen time than most of the main characters at this point. And I can't stress enough how much I hate the single story-per-episode thing they are doing. They could have introduced Oceanside to us while also showing Daryl getting tortured or Maggie taking over Hilltop or Rick being Rick. It is really awful and makes the pace of the story so slow. I get they are trying to drag it out because they need to fill a whole season, but jeez.

They should have given her a facial expression other than "there's no way they heard me fart"

Finally got around to watching this and agree with most of the complaints - this went absolutely nowhere.

Bet Tara was pleased that those ladies all seemed to have attended the Stormtrooper shooting school

Serious television pet peeve: When characters pretend smashing someone in the head as hard you can with a blunt object is not a serious threat to life, but is just like a natural go-to-sleep-temporarily-with-no-consequences-beyond-a-minor-headache button. Argh

This was the worst ever episode of this show, and this show often has terrible episodes. Just everything was wrong. The little they did was done extremely poorly.

This x1000. What a joke of an hour. Such a waste.

I agree that overall the episode was crap, and the format of spreading out all the characters for a single-story-per-episode thing is getting really old, but it was refreshing to see the slightest bit of personality out of Tara. I'm so tired of every single character on the show being one dimensional and moping for an hour each week. After the third season character development on the show was gone.
In fact, prior to this episode I was complaining to my wife, saying that I might be done with the show because I hate almost all of the characters. With Tara, they've roped me in just a little, but I feel like we should be getting better quality than what we're currently getting.

I'm guessing that
Spoiler: show
Carl isn't killed, but runs away or gets separated. I believe Kirkman said he could see Carl leading the group after enough time. And he envisions a 20+ year TV lifespan of the franchise. Carl, possibly played by another actor, could lead in The Walking Dead: The Next Generation or whatever it would be called.
