Man, the West team would probably have Hornsby and Appling up the middle. Ridiculous.

I'm probably not gonna be able to post the pitching matchups for tomorrow's games before I head out for the night, so if you have any changes or are nervous I'm going to mess yours up and want to reiterate who is starting for you, just go ahead and post it.

Owner of the team with the best record in each division (east v west) after tomorrows games is the manager of the all star team. (if they wont be around, they can hand it off to another guy)
Sunday they post the all star team- 23 guys with a minimum of 2 from each team. The remaining 2 slots can be voted on monday by the rest of the league, kind of like a final vote.
Voting ends monday evening, with lineups to be finalized by then, game run on tuesday?

Watch it end up as Jorge and #BRL.

Actually, Jorge will have the best record in the "East" no matter what after tomorrow, and #BRL will be at worst tied in the "West"(if the White Sox sweep the Rangers and the Royals get swept, and even then he'll still be running two of the three teams tied for best record).

I'd like to request that I not run the West team, if that's ok. I do however think it will be a travesty if Luke Appling isn't the starting shortstop.

I think an all star break of a day might allow some of the folks who want to do stats but are overwhelmed a chance to catch up?

And maybe someone can build a midpoint leaderboard.

This might be overkill, but perhaps the all star game should actually be a 5 game series run in a day since it's not like we can control the subs?

Good point.

I can try to throw one of these together. I was gonna try to make another leaders post this weekend (just cause I think my boy Appling may be close to leading in average and OBP).

I don't see any problem with this. Does someone else mind running the games though? Basically I'm down to take a day off for the ASG, and am cool with however you guys want to do it, but wouldn't mind being on the sidelines for the festivities.

That's pretty awesome. His performance here is quickly making him my favorite White Sox player from before my time (sorry Ed Walsh).

So Skitch is running the games, we just need people to run the East squad and the West squad.

I think that it's only fair that the person with the team in 1st be one of the all star captains.
