Looper was great!

Looper is exactly the sort of Bruce Willis vehicle you would expect in late October where you go "hey that didn't suck that much. Job well done".

Looper was great!

I tried to see it once. But it didn't go well. I got my money back. But that had nothing to do with the movie itself. I'm certainly not holding that experience against it. I really want to see Looper.

Fair enough. But I'll stand by it until the day I die.

Brick may not have completely worked, but it had far more ideas and style than the facsimiles JJ keeps putting on screen.

pretty much everything JJ has done is superior to "Looper". however, the only thing JJ did that was great is the Star Trek movies.

Harrison Ford isn't exactly ready to laugh it up like a fuzzball just yet.
Although the "Star Wars: Episode VII" star successfully completed surgery to repair his broken leg Thursday, photos surfaced of him in a wheelchair leaving the central London hospital where the procedure was done on Saturday, reports the Daily Mail.
It's the first time Ford has been spotted since sustaining the injury on June 12.
"His surgery was successful and he will begin rehab shortly," his rep said in a statement obtained by the Daily News on June 19. "He's doing well and looks forward to returning to work."
The 71-year-old actor, who is reprising his role as Han Solo in the film, is reportedly returning to the U.S. to begin rehabilitation.

which means the movie's either getting delayed or massively rewritten.

Perfect. Now we just need to put Mark and Carrie in reasonably dangerous situations as well, and we can get all the dead weight out of the way.

As far as I know this is unconfirmed. But if it's true it's a big plot detail, so I'm going to spoiler it for those who would rather not know anything.

It makes sense from a "know-nothing corporate monolith who doesn't understand its own product" perspective.

A friend of my had the same kind injury ford suffered. He broken the bottom part of tibia ice skating. He also needed surgery and wasn't fully healed for 3-4 months and he was 27 at the time. To tell people he will be ready in 6-8 weeks is insanity.
