The bizkit played in lollapalooza here and the show seemed fun

Got to see Jeff Rosenstock last night in Cleveland*.

Really fun, good crowd, high energy.

Aerosmith & Black Crowes was postponed back in November 2023. I got a refund for my tickets. It has been rescheduled for November 2024 but I think I’m gonna pass.

I, too, am toying with getting Ben Folds tickets...

The tour concept is pretty cool, been meaning to catch him live for quite a while.

I've also added Spoon to my list for August 5th at the Belly Up.

Just got tickets to see Janet Jackson in a couple hours. Nelly is opening. No telling what I’ll do with my clothes if it’s too hot in thurr.

She did the song. I don’t know “the routine,” but I was pleasantly surprised by how much she danced. Her 4 male dancers did the heavy lifting. Love that she has a full band. Drummer was absolutely tireless. The set was basically a 2 hour medley, and I really enjoyed it. The crowd was into it, and that always helps.

Concert observation: who are these guys buying a bucket of popcorn for the show? It makes me laugh every time. Aside from day-long festivals, I don’t believe I’ve ever eaten at a concert.

Great stuff. I’ve watched clips of her live show and agree about the drummer. Absolute animal and a huge big sound. He’s wonderful.

The routine I mentioned is the one she does with Michael in the scream video.
She did it alone with him on video at an mtv awards thing and they were doing a big tribute to him. She fucking nailed it. But it wouldn’t be Easy at all to do now at her age.
