How does efficient building design help poor people? It's not like they're going out and buying or renting new places with efficient building design. This may help in 30 years from now but they won't be efficient designs any longer.

I think your 30 year number is a little pessimistic since my town council just approved an affordable housing development that will be occupied in 2023, but it's a true that efficient design is not the most efficient way to address the cooling needs of the poor. That's probably why they put it at #5 on a list of five things to focus on.

well considering most north american literature/culture has jesus depicted as white when most if not all the events in the bible took place in the middle east you dont think there is a little whitewashing going on?
