Decent popcorn flick but I just can't get wrapped up in a movie that relies on so much CGI. It's like watching a video game. I think that factors into why I don't care much about all the recent super hero films.

yeah, i watched it this weekend. So hilariously hates porn is almost weird they made the movie.

Watched Power Rangers. It was so rote and by the numbers that it was kind of insulting. There was one part that I really liked, and I think it was just because it caught me off guard: The t-Rex zord is walking through the streets and dude kicks a yellow Camaro and says, "Sorry Bumblebee!" and that just hit me for some reason.

Atomic Blonde is so bad it's making me angry. It's like John Wick meets Kung Fury. Yuck.

I think they're both garbage. I did like John Wick: Chapter 2 though.

Kung Fury is amazing. Atomic Blonde is... not great.

But I really don't see any similarity between the two.

Finished Get Out this morning. Amazingly the only "spoiler" I had been exposed to was

, and I wasn't even sure that was a spoiler until it happened.

I really liked the movie. There was only a moment or two where I was thinking, "Well obviously this is going to happen next" and it actually happened. I liked the surprises, kept me guessing.

Ladybird was great! Deserving of all the praise it's getting.
