It’s no secret that you hate-watch the NBA. I am not sure there’s a single player that you like. I do, however, understand you want the Bulls to win.

So ...

Name me your dream coach, GM, and (realistic) roster for the Bulls (players that you actually want to root for and you think can win ... and I realize that the league has become lame in this respect but you can’t have 7 All Star starters on your squad, be realistic).

You can snap your fingers right now and make it so. Also name your late first-round draft pick this summer.

Who ya got?
Current players, coach, GM in case that wasn’t clear

Okay I'm bored and can't sleep.

GM--I'm not going to pick a GM since you want this to be somewhat realistic. Garpax will never be fired. The Bulls are run like a mom and pop store. John made a three once so he can't be fired. Ever. For the purposes of my roster selection I will assume Garpax's number one priority will be not to go over the salary cap, which is projected at 109 million next season.

Coach--A coach I've learned to admire that I could definitely see as a Bulls type hire would be Erik Spoelstra. How much longer can he be in Miami? Seems like things have run their course down there for him.

PG- Dame Lillard (30 million). He's everything I want in my franchise player. He has a certain dignity guys like Durant and Irving can't pull off. Is he good enough as a franchise player to win a title? No, but he's the kind of guy I'd ride with anyway.

SG-Bradley Beal (26 mil). I like Beal. Pretty sure he hates Wall. I hate Wall too.

C- Jarrett Allen (2.5 mil) Rim running defensive big who improved from year one.

PF- Pascal Siakam (2.5 mil) I like his game.

SF- Kawhi Leonard (21.5). He's good.

Bench: Derrick Rose, Malik Beasley, Bam Abedayo, Derrick Jones Jr., Taj Gibson

Late round draft guy in this year's really shitty draft? Kevin Porter Jr. - USC. Supposedly has attitude problems. His shot form is a little clunky looking but he has the right body. I bet he goes mid first round so not sure if that's a deep enough cut for you.

It's good. I liked the Jarrett Allen and Siakim picks, though their contracts will balloon after their rookie deals expire.

I picked Kawhi over Giannis so the team could win in the playoffs. That was 100% about winning.

Shouldn't you be complimenting me on picking Spo, Bam and Airplane Mode for my team?

You're right. Yanno, I missed the Bam pick. When I read your description of Jarrett Allen I thought to myself "Sounds a lot like Bam." Lo and behold you took him too.

I don't think Spo is going anywhere anytime soon. That's not really the Miami Heat way. Riley put together a loser of a roster and everybody knows it.

Lillard isn't a bitch and leads the way I would want a team to be led. I agree he's never going to win in Portland but in my make believe world Kawhi and Beal would be enough help for him.
