You nervous at all for the Apple Cup? Wazzu isn't a pushover anymore either, and it's in Pullman. It's a shame that this game is on Friday and the obvious huge UM/tOSU game is on Saturday, otherwise that would finally give College Gameday a great excuse to go to the Palouse.

If we can't beat the lowly Cougs then we deserve the Alamo Bowl or whatever.

Not nervous.

Yeah the Friday game is lame. Especially for Wazzu students, most of which who live in western Washington, as far as coming home for Thanksgiving and going right back to Pullman the next day.

I know how you feel about them, but they aren't lowly talent-wise, and weird shit happens in in-state rivalry games. I think UW wins but in the immortal words of Lee Corso, "closer than the experts think".

I was kidding. I think the line is 6 points. The Apple Cup, like many rivalry games, can be very unpredictable.

The Apple Cup wasn't over at halftime today. It wasn't over when the teams stepped on the field. It wasn't over when the Huskies got off the bus.

It was over when Washington State College had the audacity to change its name to Washington State University. They will never amount to anything. Ever.

Honestly, fell asleep in the third quarter and didn't wake up until after the game had ended. Fortunately I recorded the rest of it. Dealing with a five day old complicates things.

It would help if college games didn't last four hours. When did that start happening?

And hurry up offenses. College ball really needs to explore a running clock after first downs.

Yep. Would be good for the game in several ways. Comebacks are too easy in college.

Maybe do a running clock for most of the games but switch to the current model with 2 minutes left in each half. Sort of like a college 2 minute warning.

It is really irritating to hear everyone say that the B1G Ten is easily the best conference in college football this year, yet most likely their conference champion won't be in the playoffs. :/

What does that have to do with the conference as a whole? They have 4 teams in the top 8, 3 of which could legitimately make the playoffs.
