I don’t think it sounds melodramatic at all to be at your lowest point and constantly falling apart mere days after losing one of the most important people in your entire life. Let yourself grieve and don’t try to minimize it.

It was a up and down weekend. Managed to get about 2 dozen people together for a night out and it was a success. Heard Eddie olzcyk give his derby predictions and won $78
This morning I get a text from a high school friend that I’ve kept in touch with that her son had killed himself. He had battled mental problems and bodily pain for quite some time. It started early teens and he was maybe 20 now. Tried various meds, holistic approach but nothing seemed to help.
He tried before and thankfully failed and moved back from college to be at home. His oldest sister just got married and he looked so proud and happy in the photos.

came back from my trip to NYC yesterday. It was awesome, we had great weather, we did everything we wanted and had so much fun but the greatest feeling was to be back with my mom after 32 years, that overall feeling of ¨yeah we are still here doing stuff¨.
Very happy we got to celebrate her 70s in this way.
