This took me by surprise I had no idea they were releasing new stuff. At first I thought it was an old April Fools thread lol. After a couple listens songs not bad. Kinda Binaurally I guess? Feels like a Matt song?

I bought the single on iTunes but I don't see the B-side anywhere in my library.

Help?

For those into decimals, I just had my first 3.75 listen to this one.

I think it helps that I've scaled back how much I play it from the pace of those first couple days.

I am never buying singles from iTunes again.
Not the for the missed b-side, but the volume is way down on the iTunes version.
Same thing happened to me on that last QOTSA release.

This song flat-out makes me happy. I've always been this way with aggressive moshable tunes by bands I love (Hi Tool). That anger gives me a release I don't always realize I need, and I just end up happy.

4 seems too low for me, but it's probably not a 5. I'll go with a 4.25.

As with all new Pearl Jam releases, this song will forever remind me of this period of my life, and I'm thrilled to still have this band soundtracking my life in 2024! It'll never be 1992 again and we'll never be as young as we used to be, but this song is a joy to me.

For what it's worth, I have subscriptions to both Spotify and YouTube Music, and DM sounds a lot thicker and boomier on YM.

I've usually got a pretty good ear for detail, but where are some of you hearing Binaural in this track?

if you're hearing it with both ears, it's binaural

Is that supposed to be condescending?

I know what binaural recording is and I know most of the songs on Binaural were recorded that way. I don't hear any of that in this song.

I don't know anything about why, but when I finally found my head phones yesterday it sounded much more divided across my ears. As opposed to one space from my car and/or Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen.
