Thanks for the tip. I saw that it's on Netflix Streaming and I was debating whether or not it was worth my time.
I didn't really like Dredd, some of the action was good but I didn't care for the story at all. The one positive thing I will say is that it was one of the better movies to watch with surround sound.
I didn't care for the drug thing, but I appreciated the stripped down story (and budget). It would be nice if the sequel gets greenlit.

It's A Disaster - not terrible. But it should've been better. It's fine enough and I laughed out loud a few times, but just like Jeff Who Lives At Home I wanted to like it more than I did. It's weird because it's right up my alley. But it's lacking that... something. Something ineffable. Some movies just have that "thing" and this one doesn't. It should, but it doesn't.

But I still enjoyed myself for 91 minutes and I'll probably watch it again someday.

I thought it was pretty funny. I wasnt expecting much. David Cross can be extremely irritating for me sometimes, but he was ok here.

I actually did too. Reading over what I posted last night, it sounds like I liked it less than I did. I really enjoyed watching it. It just wasn't everything I was hoping for. It missed something.

Usually I love David Cross and I thought he was great it in this as well.

I enjoyed this.

After I finished this I watched The Raid again. Similar story with some great action/fight sequences.
On the basis of this I watched The Raid. Pretty damn cool and brutal as hell. Is it worth seeing Dredd after watching this?

Dredd has the same exact story. I still found it entertaining. So I would say go ahead.

Oldboy is on Hulu+ in Korean with English subtitles! Yay! I watched it last night! Fuck you, Netflix!

Also, I saw The World's End at the movies tonight! It was hilarious!

I don't know, I laughed a lot. I thought it was really funny. I like your link, too. It pulled out a lot of things that I had sort of seen but not totally developed. Cool.

Heh I accidentally bought a ticket for This is the End, which I've already seen. Worlds End started 30 minutes later, so I watched the best part of This Is The End for free before I changed theaters.

It was nice. I don't get into their movies as much as other people seem to, but I get the appeal.
