Gonna try and make some eggplant parm sandwiches this weekend
i've done this. once. i won't be doing it again.tragabigzanda wrote:the eggplant prep: slicing, salting, blotting, then breading and frying before you even get to making the sandwich. Not awful by any stretch, but it does take a bit of work.doug rr wrote:what do you consider the effort part?
we watched about 30 minutes of the first one last night...not gonna lie, it was very slow and not that good although you do learn things..i just think the host needs some more work..will keep watching though unless it goes nowheretragabigzanda wrote:Sold
This reminds me of a cruise that I was on ... large cruise ship in the Caribbean ... there was always a huge buffet with every kind of food you can think of.bodysnatcher wrote:Imagine going through life never making guacamole and thinking store-bought pre-made guacamole tastes good haha
This is our nieces to a T. They won’t eat a hamburger unless it’s McDonalds. Absolutely NO spaghetti unless it’s Chef Boy-Ar-Dee. No pizza but Little Caesars. And they think we’re weird for liking spaghetti or hamburgers we make at home.Bammer wrote:This reminds me of a cruise that I was on ... large cruise ship in the Caribbean ... there was always a huge buffet with every kind of food you can think of.bodysnatcher wrote:Imagine going through life never making guacamole and thinking store-bought pre-made guacamole tastes good haha
I always saw this one family, decked out in their Kansas Jayhawks gear, eating really nothing more than bologna & kraft singles on wonderbread sandwiches.
They would def use store bought, pre made guac.
