As with UL, even the songs that didn’t wow me the first time had moments that blew me away. These guys are so inspired right now just to be playing with each other.

yeah, i agree that there is some element that still drag me to this album too, feels inspired and different, even in those songs i dont care much.

Early impressions are that I'd cut 'Reach Out', 'Bella' and 'My Cigarette'. I can't get past the verse vocals on these tracks. Just lazy and bad.
The rest is growing on me. Not a terrible strike rate all things considered.

I liked nearly everything on here. Would say probably 15/17 tracks without a serious listen. I like the looser feel of this one.
Unlimited Love is the album RHCP needed to make, while Return of the Dream Canteen feels like the album they wanted to make.

well, they are from the same sessions, feels they did a good job on separating the tracks into two very cohesive albums.
