The ‘fake’ poster is from officially licenced material so that is our first real look.

1984: I wonder if we'll ever get more SW movies! That'd be sweet!

2017: It was probably a bad idea to wish for more SW movies.

I'm still on the fence about this Han Solo movie.

I need to see actual footage.

Of course they did. Read back a couple of pages. My pal did an image search on it and it’s comes up all in Russian with Disney copyright stuff in it. It’s in a desktop calendar and it’s probably just marketing material like the cardboard stands.

Dude, I am not hunting for ~20 year-old internet postings and articles.

Alright, I'd watch that. Or read the "What if?" book.

Change? CHANGE!? I pray to God for some change from this goddamn franchise! Anything but a war between imperials and rebels that has been going on for like... what... sixty years?! and has cost untold billions of lives and has utterly destroyed the protagonists?!

Christ that's depressing. It hangs over everything in the world now, past and present. This isn't some fun adventure movie franchise. It's a goddamn dystopian hellscape from which the heroes have no chance of escape. Thanks to TFA, we know there will always be an endless horde of literal nazis with endless supplies of planet killing super weapons. Nothing anyone does here matters. Only death and slavery await all life in the universe.

What a tragedy.
Soooooo...life imitates art, or art imitates life? Because this past year taught me that.

Oh God. That part of the "Another Point of View" book was so stupid. Made Han sound like an idiot.

Gotta disagree. That book has lots of awesome. Especially the audio version. All the Yoda Qui gon obi wan stiff is gold.

There is a lot of dumb stuff but overall it’s worth it.

I listened to the audiobook. You're right, there's a lot there that was good but there was also a lot there that was just wtf.

So once again lego are the peak source for new Star Wars. Here’s the Falcon. Looks like the pic on the previous page is legit

Makes sense. The front tip portion isn't open as its not carrying cargo. I wonder if something will happen to it to explain why the falcon becomes the falcon we know. Hunk of junk got jammed!

I can only imagine the prices for these Lego sets.

My wife and I went to Toys R Us before Christmas to finish shopping for our daughter and we went down the Lego aisle.

$179 for an AT-AT?!?!?!

I saw a post on another website that said we're getting a trailer this sunday during the Wild Card games. I haven't seen this substantiated anywhere. Have you guys heard anything?

Yes, I'm really curious how this film looks.

Will young versions of Han and Lando work, especially when they are in the same scenes with Chewbacca?

This is possibly the riskiest SW movie in terms of how the fans will react. Monetarily, I'm sure Disney can handle a sub-300 million movie (domestic). I'm talking worst-case scenario here.
