Ah, didn't realize that happened in Orlando (I guess I just assumed LA because of the TV/music aspect). Awful stuff. I haven't listened to a note of her music, but she was a very beautiful woman.

Yeah. The alligator was the third event, but the first two happened almost simultaneously. Of course the massacre got far more attention, but that's fucked up.

Apparently there was no sign warning of gators, just a sign saying "no swimming". Man, that is going to be a hefty lawsuit.

That story is horrifying. It makes me feel ill. I have a 2 year old and I don't know what I would do if I were those parents. Blow my brains out probably.

This is going to sound weird, but: if there's a silver lining to this story, it was that the kid drowned and wasn't eaten. There's just something so revolting about thinking over and living with the latter, even if the former has the same outcome.

Oh, for sure. I was relieved when they found him in tact. Still... gut wrenching.
