Beyond excited now and now I'm thinking this leak might have been intentional after all.

Why do you think he won't be in a vignette just because he hasn't been so far? I mean, he might not but I'm just wondering why people are thinking it. We still have nearly a month.
maybe it's because danny clinch did these and he pretty much skimmed over stone completely in immagine in cornice? i'd say there's no reason to not expect a stone edition.

ive always thought 'marker in the sand' showed ed's belief in god, not that he didnt believe in god. i think he's saying there's no god in people who wage war over religion.
Really? I always thought he was just saying that there's. I god in people who wage war over religion... Because there's no god.
That's how I like to interpret it anyway. I find that MYM I'd questioning the existence of God too.

Yeah, I remember that! That was weird, wasn't it? But I'm not phased by no Stone so far. We might get something totally different on film from Stone.

No screeching. No screaming.
I think you may want to listen to the latter parts of Lightning Bolt before readdressing the above statement(s).
oh it sounds so good there. Same at the end of MYM. It is a great exclamation point. I can see being turned off if it is the entire song (ala johnny guitar, for instance)
To be fair it's just the "thoughts will soon arrIIIIIIVE" part that's grating me at the moment. I like the concept, just don't think it's "in his register" any more. Maybe I'd have preferred a more conservative delivery of that part on record and wouldn't have minded if he wanted to put his nuts on the block a bit more for that bit when played live.
I think that bit at the end of lightning bolt sounds rough . No god with such Miiiieeeeaaaghhhhtttssghthg*coughs up a lung*

i dont think thats what he's saying at all in 'marker'. in fact, he ends the song calling god out. if he didnt believe in god, why would he call him out? even the first verse talks about 'original truth' and organized religions misunderstanding it.
mind your manners certainly seems anti-religion, but thats not the same thing as not believing in god.

if eddie is an atheist (and religious beliefs change) he would be the kind of atheist that is mad at god for not existing and would probably call him out all the time.

I can also see him calling out god to prove a point knowing that there won't be a response.

It's going to be interesting that we're going to get two records full of non-political tunes. Wonder what the motivation is there...

No musical theory to justify but between the fan video and this , Ship Song has come to mind.

i believe matt has none. I wonder if stone brought in more songs or if he really saved his favorites for Moonlander and Brad. I was skeptical of that argument before. Now I'm less so.
