I haven't listened to this album in full in several months. My ranking hasn't changed. I've cooled on every song except the title track, so maybe I'd bump everything else down a half star?

Good point! Now I’m going to think of it as “Vital Energy”

Enthusiasm still hasn’t dimmed for this one, which bodes well for Juvenalian posterity (cf Lightning Bolt. Sorry Stip).
A highlight is definitely RR’s campy chorus. Ridiculous.

I was thinking about this chorus earlier while listening to the B-52’s

Wild that I've been listening to this a full year already and only just realized that "Waiting for Stevie" is a Ramones cover.

Most of the songs sounded better at the end of the year (in Australia and the 2nd US Leg). I wonder if there is a comp with some of those performances floating around.

I thought it was an Andrew Watt cover.

Technically you're right, but it's from the Watt era when he toured with The Ramones so I'm counting it that way.

I agree, sounds much better. Sure Eddie might struggle a little, but to me he somehow sounds younger.

The problem with DM is that it's too easily digestible. Like, if I wanted to turn a Foo Fighters fan onto Pearl Jam, I would show them this album.
