Well, I’ve only pooped 3 times since taking the second half of my prep at midnight. I had to space drinking a bunch of water out so I didn’t actually get to try and sleep until 3am then I had to wake up at 4:30 to take my daily meds they let me take today. Then back up at 6:00 but I had already been awake for a while with my belly churning. Now, my worry is whether or not they’ll get to do it. Everything coming out isn’t clear like I expected it to be so I’m hoping I’m cleaned out enough to allow them to perform the procedure. I’m not ravenously hungry like I expected to be, but I am ready to eat. And my bunghole really hurts.

learn from me Wease. I had always heard when you come out of anesthesia that they need confirmation of you passing gas to ensure that all is ok.

when I had my colonoscopy the dr came into the room. my brother was there. i said in a real hushed voice, I was able to pass gas.

my brothers face was amazing. the dr just said to me, uhhh ok

he leaves the room and my brother was like, WTF did you tell him you farted?

On the way home. No polyps. Some diverticulosis. Need to increase fiber, which I thought I was doing well on.

They didn’t ask me to fart before leaving. They just wanted to make sure I could walk after coming out of anesthesia. I told them I was ready, but that was a pretty wobbly walk to the car. I’m actually still very scared to attempt a fart after that prep.

so my surgery is this thursday. they are very careful that you dont have any infections or anything going into it.

friday night started a tooth ache. Now im worried that this is going to screw up my surgery. was able to get into to my dentist tomorrow who will check it out. tooth ache is just about gone now so I should be good. must have been something stuck or wedged into my tooth that finally came loose
