Isn't it weird that this comment didn't include an assault on Ed's hypocritical politics? I mean... what changed? You've always been so concerned about the lack of overt political content in the songs and now you're suddenly going to ignore it and focus on his vocal delivery? Quit being such a hypocrite.

Bush was terrible, but I think the issue would have been with any guy who wore the "R" label, personally.

A lot of political stuff happened before he wrote Bushleaguer and railed against the Bush administration... I guess he should've committed his career to political correspondence from day one.

Definitely sounds a little like Tangerine.

Backspacer had some political songs ...they were less obvious than Bushleaguer...But even a song like, lets say, Glorified G or WMA is political.

Mind your manners is political too...and seems a lot of what he is writing is hinted that way....
