SBWM is fantastic

no its a super low tier song for Pearl Jam. It's OK.

Hard disagree. Both SBWM and Dance are better than anything since RA, and there’s not much that is even close.

Life Wasted is ok, maybe middle of the pack PJ. Severed Hand is about equal to Life Wasted, and I’d not miss either of them if I never heard them again. Inside Job is somehow boring and bloated while having terrible lyrics. Pendulum is probably one of the best songs on the last two albums, but that is mostly an indictment on how shitty the last two albums were, it definitely doesn’t touch PJ’s better material. I hate WWS, always have. It’s grating and reminds me of all the terrible music that was on the radio around the same time that it felt like PJ was desperately trying to be like. SBWM and Dance are both way out of any of these song’s league.

WWS is not great. But it’s really good. The verse melody is excellent and the overall vocal is impressive.

I doubt very much there is going to be an anthemic single like Beautiful Day on this, but there is a part of me that thinks this album in the midst of this pandemic could be like All That You Can't Leave Behind was in the post-9/11 world.

Not worth to translate the whole review cause we already know most part of the information there and the reviewer does not give details of the songs.

The first part is he discussing about the Listening Party event, quoting Ed (same sentences from other reviews) and affirming how the band still wanting to feel relevant in modern music. Also highlights how the marketing to this album is using augmented reality, cinema experience, but despite all this techonology Ed still approached individually every guest after the listening party.
