Seems he’s just speculating how Omicron could affect Florida. The data’s out of South Africa.

It seems odd to me that the mandate/lockdown crowd would want to bring up Florida. They're obviously hoping pretty badly for a catastrophic levels of death so they can call DeSantis a murderer.

I didn't feel good imputing those kinds of motives, but I've read multiple opinion pieces about DeSantis/Florida Covid policies and that's how some of them feel.

Somebody explain to me why people get so mad about a vaccine mandate when there's been mandatory vaccines to go to public school for decades.

The problem here in Australia is that the vaccine uses new technology and when other new vaccines were first introduced there were often health consequences. By the time those mandatory vaccines were made mandatory the issues were reduced.

The one I've heard the most is people talking about when doctors started prescribing Thalidomide to pregnant women to help with morning sickness and it caused a high rate of birth defects
