Ascend doesn’t get you to the islands. It's for going through roofs and cave ceilings. Getting to the sky islands is part of the challenge and it’s fun

Somehow it's better than BotW. I thought maybe Ascend, Fuse and Attach were going to be gimmicky and hamper the experience - they're all great.

I beat my first dungeon. Herba region. Not difficult. 29 shrines. 49 Koruks.

I got the Link's Awakening helmet via Amiibo. It looks like a bobblehead of the Link's Awakening remake Link. It's funny, terrifying and awesome.

Most of it is along the this is daunting / functionality being a real pain, whole thing is frustrating.

I know it’s just a couple of days but I’m worried
I'm lost on every publication giving it a 10/10.. its basically a copy n paste of the last one

Which isn't the worst thing in the world because the last one was really good

But I mean the whole big bad take over, wake up damaged, meet an old ghost, explore shrines, get powers, red world, blood moon, weapons breaking every 8 seconds, etc

Hopefully the sky world n dungeons really factor in.. I do like the new abilities better than the old so far, the sky tech is neat but so far I did a lot of assembly to unlock a lot of nothing

9 seeds. For those of you using the OLED in handheld mode, I recommend the vivid colors setting for this game.

For as long as I live I will never understand playing these games hand held.

It needs the biggest screen you can find. It’s gorgeous.

Don't give me any ideas. I want to hide in the basement the way it is.

The colors and visuals down in the chasms are right up my alley. I love it.

Think it’s been well over a year since I played the Switch on a tv, always handheld.

I'm primarily handheld these days but this game will probably be 50/50.

You guys live in total darkness for 8 months a year! No wonder you can see what’s going on that tiny screen!

Dublin has about one hour more sunlight than Oslo in the middle of winter, an hour less than Oslo in May.

I found the Koruk Mask!!!! No one's catching me now!!!!

I'm much more diligent with marking my map this time. Today, I cleared a lot of the things I marked. The NPCs really give detailed location information. Can't wait until I clear the towers so I can see what they're talking about.

I see that my horses from BotW did transfer over. I wonder if anything else transfers over?

Does anyone know if the Stealth Gear is in this game and where to get it?

That's part of the newspaper quest near Rito village.
