He’ll probably make the entire show about it.

He'll be like Louis CK where he waits about 15 minutes to acknowledge the elephant in the room.

is it possible you're autistic? if you don't want to answer that's fine; I know trans autistic people who "get" this stuff because they've lived it, but still have to engage with stuff in that way
No diagnosis. But I've often wondered if I were on the spectrum. I am very literal and struggle in social situations to you know.. vibe with people and stuff. If nothing else, I'm definitely the most introverted person I've ever known, which can look like autism. But I'm not sure wanting to know what a word means is an autistic quality.
I think that struggling with the potential subjectivity of words can be an autistic trait; I have Hydrocephalus, which gives me almost opposite problems; I want *all* words and ideas and concepts to bend every which way sometimes, and I can speak in ways that seem frustratingly vague to my autistic friends (and partner); we often have to go over our conversations so that we're not talking over one another and we have a mutual understanding
This explains so much and I feel so much better now

It’s really difficult to have a productive conversation when we can’t even agree on what words mean. Just know that when I use a word, I use it understanding how the dictionary defines the word

and one thing I try to do with both my best friend (another trans woman) and my partner, is to make sure we understand (not necessarily agree on) how we're using the terms we're using, before we start throwing terms around
