Is it a new thing or just reprinting the one from the 90s?

i am still amazed that weapon x was fleshed out in marvel comics presents. the fact that BWS told the story in words and art is amazing

I’ve often wondered how Claremont felt about that. At the time, he WAS Mr X. He was already pissed that Shooter’s best bud, Bob Layton, started X-Factor and he had no control over it.

So my friend that we visited in NYC was lending a helping hand and was asking around some of his friends what good used book stores I could go to. Knowing I’m into comics, he also asked his “comic book guy” about some comic stores not everyone frequents. He sends me the name of this place that’s appointment only for their brick-and-mortar and they seem to do most of their business online. Apparently it’s the store of the guy that invented slabbing and the 0-10 scale of grading comics. Mostly high-end stuff that even if I could afford it, I wouldn’t buy any of it because I hate slabbed comics.
Cut to Saturday night at dinner with my bud and he asked how it all went and asked if I went to the store CB had recommended. And I was like, “wait, who?” He said “CB. CB Cebulski. That’s my friend that I told you about.” So I’m like your buddy is the fucking editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics and you never told me? And I didn’t get some kind of behind the scenes tour of the Marvel offices?!? WTF?????
Then after we parted he texted me and said oh yeah, I’m going to his place to watch the Super Bowl in a couple of weeks…

Picked this up on a whim. The story is basic but functional. The art and tone are great though.

Just read the latest Batman/Spawn. Nice art by Capullo/McFarlane (and homage to Daredevil 181) forgettable story.
Also finished the Catwoman: Lonely City mini by Cliff Chiang. Highly recommended. I got it because I’m a fan of Chiang but the story was great and I couldn’t put it down.

Reading Swamp Thing - Green Hell. I've always been an extremely casual fan of Swamp Thing. I think I'm gonna do a deeper dive.

I’ve read the trade that collects the first Wein/Wrightson run. Great stuff. I have the first issue of the second series before Moore came aboard. That series up thru the end of Moore’s run is on my list of stuff to get.

I started the Scott Snyder run. Might do Moore after that.

I highly recommend the original Wein/Wrightson run. Very nice stuff and gorgeous Wrightson art.
