I think they will book Cena/Owens like they did Cena/Brock at Extreme Rules 2012. Where Brock beat the living shit out of Cena for like 15 minutes and Cena went all Superman at the end and won. I don't usually care who goes over but that is a match where the wrong guy won.

Owens doesn't have to go over on Cena but he has to look strong. I assume he will just like Zayn and Neville did.

No it wasn't. This was much better though than anything I could find. Thanks!

Ironically this is how cena debuted vs angle

I like how the NXT guys have a little buzz when they debut, it's the closest thing we'll get to the days of guys jumping from WWE to WCW and vise versa.

Exactly. That was actually a heck of a match too. Cena and Angle had pretty good ring chemistry.

I miss Angle. :?

Exactly and with the internet it's tough to keep that shit under wraps. Jericho wanted his comeback in 2012 before the Rumble to be a surprise and he claims nobody knew about it until somebody took a creepy pic of him at the airport. There is something to be said for kayfabe. Which yes is dead as a door nail. I try not to read spoilers as much as possible.

My expectations for Zayn/Owens tonight are so high that it's bound to disappoint.

I try to avoid them the day of ppvs. The Owens debut was kept under wraps pretty good, word of it only came down just before that segment.

Work tonight and NXT will be over when I get off. So I will have to refrain from social media/message boards. Excited to get home and watch the last Letterman then Takeover. Zayn/Owens have such good chemistry even their worst matches are still really good. Their worst match together is still probably four stars.

Here is Kevin's son (Owen...hence Owens) reacting to his Dad's debut on Raw. This is so awesome. His son is named after Owen Hart which makes me like Kevin Steen/Owens that much more!

I just have this feeling that their match tonight is going to be a classic. Man, I fucking love NXT. It's to the point now where part of me doesn't want Owens and Balor to get called up yet because they are killing it down there.

I purposefully skipped NXT for a few weeks so I could binge watch last week. It has been excellent. If Zayn is ok they can go out there for a half hour tonight and tear the roof off.

I watched a few Steen/Generico matches last night. The chemistry with those two is unbelievable.

Balor has said he is in no hurry to get called up. I think Zayn coming up first names sense. Have him come up and establish himself a little. Then bring Owens in to cause chaos.

I have a feeling Cena may cost Owens the title tonight.

Zayn has pretty much done everything there is for him to do in NXT, he's definitely ready. I'd love to see Owens stick around down there long enough to feud with Joe and have a proper feud with Balor.

Owens/Joe matches would be absolute carnage and wonderful. Joe is in great shape I have heard. I forget what fed but Joe is appearing there this weekend. He tweeted something about it yesterday.

I get that it makes sense for Cena to cost Owens the match tonight, or at least attack Owens after the match, but I really don't want John Cena anywhere near NXT shows. I don't want NXT and the main roster to become interchangeable. I like that NXT has its own identity and is booked and presented differently.

Just watched Owens segment from Monday again, it reminded me a lot of Punk. It's great that all of the new talent are guys that know and love the business.

A lot of those RoH/indie guys have chips on their shoulders. They were not handed anything like Cena, Orton, etc. Guys like Punk, Bryan, Rollins, Cesaro and now Owens and Zayn have had to fight for everything. It's refreshing and makes them easy to root for. I love how Owens corrected Cena when Cena brought up Owens being new. I know that was probably planned but there was a hint of realism there. I loved this Steen shirt when he was in RoH. Obviously a take on the Cena shirt.

I love how they didn't fuck with Owens or Balors gimmicks(other than the name changes obviously.) I went on a Owens binge a few weeks ago watching some of his ROH matches, I fucking love the guy. Fantastic worker and story teller. He's probably the best heel in WWE already, I'm ready excited to see where he can take things from here.
