EMS worked on him for 25-30 minutes. They put him on the stretcher belly-down like he was on the field. I’ve never seen that before. That can’t be good. Hope he’s ok.

doing laundry and cleaning the house..we're gong to house sit at our friends house tomorrow for 5 days and take care of their Great Dane..it feels like going on vacation but its just 25 minutes away...weird..

Another basketball dad is taking his daughter to a court for some practice after school, so we’re going to join.

We have two really good players on the team, and neither is one of our daughters. It’s gotten to the point where everyone else just defers to the two great players during games, so we’re going to run some drills to encourage more assertiveness on the court from our girls. I have a cold, but I’ll fight through. We lost 32-0 on Friday; it’s come to this.

Maybe if they could index faster they would’ve at least scored one bucket.

I should clean my balcony today, the whole building was being painted and fixed but its been finished for two weeks so i guess its time to fucking clean it.

i was able to tie my shoes today (technically the left foot)

This is actually amazing. I think I had to go to the office after every Christmas break in school to get mine. 2 weeks and it was blissfully forgotten.

home now after dog/house sitting the giant Great Dane for 4 days...we're both beat..bed at 830

my birthday is December and its my 60th..we have to go to LA for my wife's good friends wedding on my birthday..black tie..ugh..anyway we're extending it for 5 days in Vegas...my wife let me know today she got tickets at the sphere to see the Eagles..always liked them but have never seen them live...also at the sphere we will be seeing a matinee movie of the wizard of oz...one of my all time favorites..gambling and eating the rest of the time

We saw Wizard at the sphere last year. It was really cool.

nice. have heard the restaurant game in vegas is top tier these days

started the day with a 5 mile jog early in the morning. weather was crisp. made it up to the beach and back. listened to the 2013 In Utero mix. felt exhilarating

did some reading and then some cleanup chores

then cooked the bluefish i caught yesterday. soaked the filets overnight in milk to get some of the oily fishyness out. then fried half of the filets and cooked the other half in olive oil with capers. threw some lemon on and had some tartar sauce on the side for the fried. it all came out positively banging. was a very light taste. surprising bc usually blues have a strong flavor. they must not be eating the peanut bunker right now.

then sprayed the yard with concentrated pine oil to keep the mosquitos down. did a bit more reading and bit more chores.

reheated some leftover mexican food and ate outside amidst the residual aroma of pine

now some rest and relaxation before the start of NFL football week. so weird the first game is on a Wednesday. I'll most likely fall asleep by 8:30pm and miss most of it, even if I remember there is a game on

enjoying this peaceful time before the US loses its ability to defend itself from conventional military attack because we wasted all our stuff in Iran. if only James Madison could have protected us from the tyranny of the majority. but alas

We need another UFC fight on the WH lawn to rekindle our nation’s fighting spirit if the return of football cannot. Conflict over by Thanksgiving.
