We have 95% vaccination rate (apparently) and our case numbers have gone 10x in a fortnight. Vaccine doesn’t help at all with transmission. Let’s hope our ICU numbers stay low.

while its good to see biden want to send free test kits (especially after the sarcastic comment from psaki {one of if not her only head shaking moment}) what is the use of the tests if people do not use them? 50% will and 50% will complain its the govt wasting money and that trump could do better

NC is sending me one free kit per my request. I am unclear if I can order more later.

I am also unclear, since I have to put in a bunch of my personal info, if I can use it on one of my kids. I guess I could, and who would know unless the health department has to get involved.

As has always been the case, it comes down to hospital capacity, and following worst case scenario projections, even if they’re (hopefully) wrong. No one wants to turn away sick people.
