Using “millennial” as an insult is dumb and doesn’t really even make sense. Can we stop that?

How does it stand up now? I dunno.
Wrote is past-tense because his latest stuff is just bad. Rant was good and Damned had an interesting hook but the sequel to Rant is still forthcoming (if ever), the sequel to Damned was just plain bad narratively, and then he wrote Fight Club 2.

Okay, I watched it again. I get that now. The nameless, faceless mob that makes up Project Mayhem and Tyler himself are just new varieties of slavery in the narrator’s life after he thought he liberated himself from all of his things. If there’s a “freedom” found while everything collapses in the end, it looks something like this:
Spoiler: show

One thing I completely erased from my memory about Fight Club was the introduction credits. Nothing about it was familiar to me at all. Not the music, not the graphics, not the font. Nothing.

Mostly because you gave up on wanting to have real discussions about your views. I took a beat from you. That's why.

Call Me By Your Name.

I have a lot of thoughts but all are spoilery, so I won't get into them. But the lead kid and his dad both give absolutely outstanding performances and overall I liked the film. But it probably doesn't make my top 5 of the year, regardless of how I enjoyed it.

Glad you finally saw it. That ending...powerful performance. The kid is a fuckin Star.
It’s so beautiful though. Haven’t had a film transport me so fully into its setting and feeling in a long time.
