Y'all have me far more interested and excited for this than any of the marketing materials have gotten me so far. I might actually go check this out.

I really wish he was doing that kidnaapping movie next instead of the almost-sure-to-be-disastrous Indy 5. These days, Spielberg is much better at real-world dramas than CGI-laden spectacles.
Oh well. At least we’ll probably the previous Indy movies on 4K because of this.

I havent seen the post yet, but i admire that he can jump from that movie to this one in so little time.
He already did that in the past, and its just remarkable he can still do it.

I have high expectations with Indy 5...a lot more than the 4th one.

He made The Post in a matter of months entirely during Ready Player One’s post-production. His work ethic is insane.

Go!
Its another masterclass of spielberg....gosh, he did this movie and the post basically in the same year. How cool is that!!!
Im actually dying to see the new Indy.
Filming[edit]
Production was set to begin in July 2016.[22] Screenwriter Zak Penn tweeted on July 1, 2016, that the first week of filming had been completed.[30] In August and September 2016, filming took place in Birmingham, England, which included Livery Street in the Jewellery Quarter area, which also utilized the backpackers hostel Hatters for internal filming; other locations in the city included the former industrial area of Digbeth. The film is set in Ohio.[31][32] Principal photography ended on September 27, 2016.[33][34]
Technically he did this two years ago.

It really shows. Such a huge missed opportunity about such a timely important event, rendered into beige forgettable movie you’ll only watch on a plane in order to fall asleep.
It’s probbaly the worst Spielberg movie ever.

It's shockingly dull considering the talent involved and the timing of its production.
They got money for nothing. I don’t understand why Tom Hanks still has a career but this was bad even for him. He wasn’t even pretending to try.

Could not disagree more. It’s fantastic and nothing about it feels lazy or unengaged.
