We had SNL on last night and they started playing. My wife had no idea who they were (had never heard of them). I had my back to the tv doing something, and she just goes, “oh my god. What is this. This band is so polarising. I keep reading comments that they suck. But also something: 'Hey, atleast they rock and play their guitars loud' or 'much better than those pop crap we had in the last decade'.
Those comments make me almost angry haha. I play in bands aswell and know plenty musicians who are far far better than these guys. They try to sound like Zep, but Bonham, Page and JPJ are all amazing players!
To everyone who thinks this band rocks, please check out Zeppelin influenced bands like: 'Motorpsycho, Mastodon, Boris,Black Mountain or The Sword. All of which deserve more audience than these guys.
Or just listen to many unknown 70s hardrock band like: Mountain, Leafhound, Sir Lord Baltimore, Montrose or Toad. And many others.
All of which are better than this GVF...
