What's the line between a young teenager and an old teenager?
13-15 and 16-19.
That leaves no room for middle teenagers, Anders.
Didn’t think about that.

Middle teenagers are the worst anyway.

So, did you pick up on what happened in each of the Phase 2 projects including AoS?

for as much as I love the MCU, there's still a bunch of stuff on there I haven't seen.

Well, I've seen the movies spread out over several years. Anything specific you think I should rewatch?

I've found of all of the MCU movies Age of Ultron does the best with rewatches in terms of picking up on themes, arcs, plot points it is easy to miss the first time through. It's just an overstuffed movie so some of it takes a while to sink in.

Civil War (technically phase 3) and Winter Soldier should both be re-watched because their awesome. Civil War is also a movie where the major story arc can be missed. In part because they insisted on using the Civil War name it's easy to see the movie as being primarily about that registration/oversight story. But that's really just a device to advance the central conflict, which is really about what the avengers/heroism means to Iron Man vs. Captain America, as well as the nature of their friendship. It's actually more of a character piece.

Great:
Iron Man

Good:
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Okay:
Thor
Captain America: The First Avenger

Bad:
Iron Man 3
Guardians of the Galaxy
Iron Man 2
The Incredible Hulk

Awful:
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Spider-Man: Homecoming
Thor: The Dark World
Black Panther
The Avengers
Avengers: Age of Ultron

What I watched was terrible and I didn’t even bother to finish:
Ant-Man
Dr. Strange

You haven’t seen Ragnarok LV?
It’s a ton of fun. Way more fun than GOTG

I’m picking up the 4K Blu-ray, which comes out (I think) on March 6.

Ah cool. It totally took me by surprise. Wildly funny. Waititi is wonderful. Everything he touches is gold.

You clearly dislike these movies, LV. Why do you keep watching them?

I stopped after Age of Ultron. GOTG 2 pulled me back a little. I don’t know why I watched BP.

I think Ragnarok was funny, but relied far too heavily on humor to get over. It's supposed to be light entertainment, but when you remove all the drama, it takes away an important element for me. With that said Ant-Man was every bit as funny, but somehow the story just clicked.
