The mind boggles.
It was elaborate. Ill give em that. But I agree with Spennos comments about it needing to be finalized on April 1.
Apart from how poor it was in most other respects, by definition it's not an April Fool's joke if it doesn't occur on April 1st.

Spenno has never been less impressed with anything in his life, than he is with this attempt at some internet fun.

dont try and blame this on stip. this was your project.
Stip just came clean about his involvement 5 posts up. I wonder if anyone else will?
I'm just happy for the book plugs

Hehehe. Gotta respect the effort on this one. For me, I'm in the burt reynolds camp in that demos of new stuff really wasn't of that much interest to me these days. Gotta say I'm a bit sad to realise that.
Well played B, stip et all. Good to see people going to effort to keep things interesting around here.

Wow, just saw the beg for forgiveness front page. I can't believe some people bought this.
I thought it was an epic fail...........anyone who believed this right before April Fools day..........and with all the dancing around about "trying to get them"/ "but we have heard them" bullcrap, deserves what they got.
There was a thread up on the official Pearl Jam website for days on end and was never taken down, duh. Wouldn't Pearl Jam managment have gave a cease and desist order to B?? They wouldn't allow t-shirts of Edddie Vedder's image but they will allow the new songs to be spread in the demo phase months before the release of a very anticipated album??? You got yourself to blame and nobody else.
The word of the day is: Gullible

You can't just start throwing out pranks on any old day and then claim it was an April Fool's.
I'm quitting RM and all the facebook groups etc etc.

The real joke is the intro music before the rick roll came on will be better than anything on the new album.

it was not funny at all for a number of reasons. first, this isnt even original. buggy made a fake "worldwide suicide" years ago and posted it on tsis, that was a really good april fool's prank. this "prank" is like the retarded little brother of buggy's prank. it was also clear as day this was bullshit. some dude hosted the songs secretly for a couple of hours so stip and B could listen to them? people believed this? the entire thing was leading up to the beginning of april...
stip and B should stick to being serious, they are terrible at pranks
