I haven't heard any credible rumors on that front, but since they canned both Trestman and Emery it would make some sense.

Everything regarding new HC / GM candidates is speculation at this point. I think the Shanahan rumors are based on comments by him showing interest or respect for Jay and vice versa. Personally I would rather go in a different direction.
