Re: Alanis
I never really thought of Alanis as particularly attractive. I'm a little surprised at the "back then, part of the appeal was that she was smoking hot..." really? Interesting
I thought she was famous mostly because of her songs. In fact I think I remember a lot of terrible comments back then about her having a horse face and such. I guess those will happen no matter who you are

Re: Alanis
yeah I remember those insults too Jorge; I wasn't particularly attracted to her back then but she's aged like a fine wine imo

Re: Alanis
I've always found Alanis incredibly attractive. But I find talent attractive. Her physical beauty isn't what made me a fan. It's the other stuff. The music, the lyrics, the passion, the voice, the performance, the presence, the kindness, the openness, the heart. All that stuff.
I got to talk to her once at work. She picked up her tickets from me. It was two days after she'd run the NYC Marathon, which my wife also ran. I used that as a way to say something more to her than just "here are you tickets, enjoy the show."
She was stunning. But so kind and full of light. Her smile was infectious and she seemed so joyful and excited to see the show.
I love her. She's a remarkable human.

Never heard the horse face thing. I thought SJP had that on lock. Both babes regardless.

I'm currently listening to albums I haven't given much time to, and it turns out I find Flavors of Entanglement way more interesting than Under Rug Swept

Re: Alanis
This is the greatest dance track of all time in my opinion. It's absurd how well Alanis' voice works in this setting. Makes me wanna weep in Joey's arms.
