This is one of the best tracks on the album
It’s King Animalfalcaoruiz wrote:Song is cool and everything, but it's the ending that makes this song memorable for me. It's very Riot Act but with slightly more balls.

sounds like some hot chick.Juvenal wrote:stip wrote:backing vocals are great; especially during the outroIs it Matt or Ed?
That's what happens when Ed doesn't write the lyrics, something that should happen more oftentheplatypus wrote:What is wrong with these lyrics?! They're fine! There are no clunky, overstuffed, awkwardly phrased lines like in half of Ed's songs

Ed does indeed have a lot of poor lyrics.theplatypus wrote:What is wrong with these lyrics?! They're fine! There are no clunky, overstuffed, awkwardly phrased lines like in half of Ed's songs
there's still no bass to be found, so weirdAnders wrote:This song suffered most from the leak. Really needs that full drive and sound.
they're just a bit bland and generic. They're fine, though. Probably his best effort.theplatypus wrote:What is wrong with these lyrics?! They're fine! There are no clunky, overstuffed, awkwardly phrased lines like in half of Ed's songs
this is completely baffling to me.stip wrote:I still dont think it fits on the record. there is a very slightly mean spiritedness or obsessive desperation I pick up on that is out of place.
I see what Stip means, this is the song that praises Bob Honey, a self-consciously disgusting character written by a much less self-aware author; I don't think you're supposed to sympathise with the speaker of the song; I mean, Bob Honey kills old women; the "singer in a rock and roll band" at the end of the song could be anyone the speaker met, mistreated, killed? I wonder if this song has links to SBWM in that wayghost wrote:this is completely baffling to me.stip wrote:I still dont think it fits on the record. there is a very slightly mean spiritedness or obsessive desperation I pick up on that is out of place.
