yea, i enjoyed seeing such enjoyment from their inner circle of friends and family. Goes along nicely with a really poignant and purposeful/important album.

While it seemed odd to have Josh K in the video, i love the idea of him joining the band on tour as a hired gun.
Very creative, talented dude. Has done lots of work with Jon Brion, Beck, PJ Harvey, Jenny Lewis and more.

yeah, it was weird to have him on the video.

My guesses are that he was going to open for the us tour and play on some Gigaton tracks too.

This was fucking awesome. I love DotC. I love this band. Just want to echo a lot of what has already been said.

Oh wait, nope. There’s more important shit to worry about. It was fun and sounded great, and they weren’t the only ones that did that last night. Would have preferred them all together but they’re pushing 60 and don’t want to take chances. I’m guessing Jeff hasn’t even left his Montana bunker.

I never once stated that they should have been in one room.

A live performance where each member was transmitting from different locations would never have worked because of the technological limitations. You couldn't avoid weird delays and latency issues, it would be a complete mess.

This was a pre-recorded "live" song stitched together with the guys having fun miming to it.

For what it was, I thought it was fun, though I can't imagine I'll watch it again.

I’ll be watching it every single day until touring resumes.

I saw it like 4 times. Every one of them i was smiling like an idiot.

Now im listening to Gigaton.

To put it simpler for you... I just don't want Ed to pretend to be singing, ok. The other stuff is just goofy, uninspired 'creativity' but I don't have as much of a problem with that stuff.

I guess I was under the impression we were getting a live Gigaton song.

it was live. it wasnt the studio track. It was pre recorded like pretty much everything these days.
