The fat acceptance committee needs to become that tool. If a MOP understands that if they continue the way they are they're going to die, and instead of enablers they have people helping them, then you might see change.

I think the percentage of obese people who don't understand the health implications of their size is very low. I'm sure it just adds to their stress.

Yes, and as I pointed out before, many of them are aware of it and still would rather die than change their ways.
