Also, I forgot that Lindsay's amulet is now an idol, so she's guaranteed a spot in the final 5 for the finale. If she feels safe (or if she wins immunity), she could even play it for someone else and really take control of the game. As likeable as Maryann is, I don't know if her gameplay is strong enough to pull off a big move with her idol.

Bad call by me!

Lindsay is in serious trouble with no allies left. With the final 5 the way they are, I think they all have a chance win (besides Romeo) depending on how things shake out.

Mike and Maryann's idols are still active, yeah? If so, that means they both are guaranteed final 4, which means 1 of them is guaranteed final 3. Maryann has a tough road to hoe, since it's just been hard for people as young as her to win Survivor in the past. Mike is just so likeable that he might be the biggest threat left--is there anyone on the jury that you know WOULDN'T vote for him? Maybe Rocksroy and Tori because they're both sort of insane in their own way.

I really think Jonathan has very few if any guaranteed votes on the jury. He'd have to dominate the last few days (totally possible) to make it clear that he's just so good that they can't vote for anyone else. But his social game is just not there. He'd need someone like Mike on the jury to maybe convince others that he's deserving.

I think there's a good amount of jury members who would hold their nose and vote for Lindsay.

Romeo...enjoy the rice at the bottom of the pot, my friend.

Note: I am really bad at predicting what is going to happen on Survivor.

I believe I had this. That said, either she pulled off or the producers crafted a Verbal from the Usual Suspects storyline for her. Not the same “character” who started the show.

Good season. Maryanne wasn’t my choice (I would have picked Mike) but props to her.

I think I would've voted for Mike, too, but I think Maryann had a strong case. I think what would've put Mike over the top for me is that he was targeted a few times and was able to weasel his way out of it. Maryann played smart, but I think Mike had to play harder. That's just what I value, I guess, and it might be different from people who actually play. I don't think I would change my vote after final tribal unless some huge secret got revealed.

Yep. Mike even told him beforehand that would happen.

That guy's butt tattoo was the highlight of the premiere.

I’m really enjoying this 19-year-old pet cremator. He’s trying to hide that he’s good at everything but keeps having to show he knows how to do shit the others can’t.

I think both Pet Cremator and Cody (aka Livin) are interesting players because they are both physical threats and have good minds for puzzles/thinking outside the box--Cody was the one to figure the bamboo/key puzzle in the first challenge, and PC figured out the bones puzzle. I am not sure how their social games will measure up.

I was sure that Noelle wasn't going to give Cody her charm; I can't believe they were so trusting, but it probably has to do with how he's been acting like the crazy wild card (but shout out to Jesse for convincing him to use the hat).

I can’t stand Livin.

We’re watching the first tribal right now.

I really liked the second episode. The beads thing is a great variation of the beware advantage.
