So the question remains. How much of this is actually taken and how much is re-recorded?
I answered that upthread. BOB telss us. The drums, bass and electric guitar. The rest is in the studio.
So you maintain that the vocal similarities are a coincidence?

I think the bulk of the vocals come from that live recording, with additional overdubs, pitch correction, etc.

Nope. I maintain some of the vocals are used, too.

Eddie's growly vocals from 1998 are quite possibly my favorite Eddie vocals. Sounds so ferocious.

I just listened to it again, and really liked it O_O

To be fair, I was working while listening before. So it wasn't quite the same.

But now Im really feeling this.

ITS HERD BEHAVIORRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

This is the one song where Eddie can growl on I guess.

Still wish Stone wouldn't play his awesome part sloppily

Also I didnt see anything special about the solo but I did like the end of it.

This is the funniest/best thread I've read in a while. Perfect way to relax at the end of a day. Also, that Better Man overlay is fun to hear.

His opinions are deeply unfathomable but he's certainly livened up PJ Chat.
Absolutely
Agreed. He's wildly berserk, but he's absolutely brought life to the board.

The resurrection of this thread inspired me to throw on the 9/19/98 Vault show, which is the first Pearl Jam music I've really listened to in a good few months. This is just some damn fine Jamming right here -- the kind you want to Never Stop.

Well, since I bumped this thread yesterday, I'll go into today knowing I helped give KD some enjoyment. What a great day.

Also, this morning, after spending the past few months drinking virtually nothing but water for this fitness thing at my work, I am having powdered donuts and a cold Pepsi for breakfast.

What a delightful 24hrs of lost pleasures and glorious indulgences. Thanks for your contribution, Ruddo.

Oh man, I haven't had a soda for almost 3 years. A pepsi sounds so fantastic right now...

I was going to get a Bavarian creme long john instead of the powdered donuts, but it had too much filler.
