"knifed him"? I don't know where that came from but this was merely a slap, that didn't even shake Chris Rock; he joked about it afterwards

I must admit, I think it's strange if you watch this whole video, and your conclusion is that the slap and angry shouting was justified.

It was a wildly disproportionate response to an innocuous joke.

Bullshit. The joke wasn’t about her having alopecia. It was about her look at that moment. Lots of African American women are bald and/or wear wigs. She chose that look. And that joke was innocuous.

Will Smith has over reacted and clearly has issues.

There are videos that show less. Half of twitter seems to think it was a work (a set up between Rock and Smith), but I think if you see the whole thing, you can see that it is Smith acting recklessly, and that Rock is a little shook by it.

Did Chris Rock know Jada Pinkett Smith has alopecia? The slap is a childish outburst either way

I can't believe something interesting happened at the Oscars. I really wasn't expecting that.

"chose" that look? shut the fuck up; she has Alopecia and has cut it short to save herself no end of shame if she existed as herself in public with random baldness caused by anxiety and stress

my partner has Alopecia and I would have done exactly the same fucking thing

I suggest that you don't. It's a bad thing to do, and since you're not rich or famous you would likely have to face consequences

Whatever the case, I think we can all agree that the dumbest and wrongest people are the ones who were insisting it was staged (I see you browsing psychobain)
