This could be shaping up to be a great tour!

I read a rumor stating they have a reserve on San Antonio. If it's at the Spurs arena, isn't it nearly impossible to reserve an NBA Arena during playoff time?

Someone posted on the Message Pit that the S.A. hold is for an outdoor amphitheater.

Was there a rough date? May?

It's not a problem anyway, a few years ago they had the FleetCenter booked when the Celts and Bruins were both in the playoffs.

not that i have seen. the most specific 'date' that has been attached to any rumour I have read is STL and KC in "mid May"...

Let's be real here... the 2014 tour will hit Philly, NYC (Manhattan + SNL), and Boston.

Yeah, gotta rally the base.

But, I think a mid-west tour of smaller venues (10-12k) would be cool. There are probably a lot more potential new fans there than the band has in NYC or Philly where it's basically like Bush giving a speech in Texas. (Just a pain in the ass for anyone who wanted to travel with them.)

At this point, I don't think care about getting new fans to be honest. They could go 4 nights in Philly, Boston, NYC, hartford and still have more demand, maybe not hartford, too many crackheads for 4 days.

Had tickets to KC/STL in 2010, but had to bail last minute to defend my dissertation. I still owe my brother in law a show -- He lives in KC and has never seen 'em live.

Kind of wondering if they will split the middle of the country in half.
KC, STL, Hou one one leg, Cinn, Clev, FLA on the second in August?

If there are shows in May hopefully the tour gets announced in Feb after the BDO tour.

Lots of posts still on the Lolla board predicting PJ headlines one night. I'm guessing Oukast will be there since they're headlong every other festival this year. Lots of predictions Metallica also headlines since they haven't done Lolla since its reincarnation, and they're skipping Orion this year. My long-shot hope is that Springsteen is on the bill (w/PJ and Outkast) which seems a bit more likely now that Tom Morello is playing in the E-Street Band.
