Imo that was a great show! Loved the main set especially. Went crazy for better man and immortality at the beginning.

But the show highlight was Eddies passionate and angry rant about a bullied autistic fan who was in the audience and had recently lost his mom. Eddie was furious at the bullies, the parents, the school….and he got everybody fired up before launching into a passionate given to fly. The energy was crazy. It’s the most powerful the song has ever been to me just because of the context. The concert highlight to me.

A nice varied setlist with representation of many albums.

A super sloppy start but that was a fantastic setlist that, for me, climaxed with Unthought Known. Ed sounded great but he and the band messed up a ton of stuff throughout. The energy and positivity from the band and the crowd overcame all of it. Great show.

Satan's Bed sounded great.

modern era PJ always seems to fumble it somehow

hopefully they can find that cornerstone drum-machine-while-drummer-is-at-dentist groove that seems so difficult to replicate from Vitalogy
it was great - they nailed it

inside job was great - they played it like it was the most important song in the world. best one i ever heard

it was a weird show - consistently surprising either in the choices or moments within them. Felt loose and unexpected but not sloppy. more playful. pendulum start was choppy (and indifference at the end) but after that everything was really good (except ed forgetting how to play LBC at the start). great story about how Unthought Known was written. Great save it for later tag.

surprised to report that react/respond is the best of the new songs live.

but overall a really good msg show

honestly this 1-2 moment was a highlight of the night.

Agreed it was great.

My favorite moment was Mike stabbing his amp with the neck of his guitar (leaving a sizable hole) at the end of his Black solo and then kneeling over the guitar lying on the stage as if trying to resuscitate it during the song’s final notes.

Mike was on fire tonight! That Black solo was one of the most intense and wild I've ever seen.

Really that final stretch of the first set was blistering.

I agree. In my section, there were gasps when he stabbed his amp. I’ve never seen him get that intense

Ed floated layoffs in a recent board meeting, so Mike’s making sure his techs have work.

Worst setlist of the tour (so far) for my tastes.

I would’ve went for a beer at wreckage and missed satans bed probably

I appreciate them trying to include at least one track from all the albums (even if it’s BS/LB over binaural)

What’s this bullshit of playing a half-assed improv from 1994 TWICE on this tour rather than an actual good fully realized song?

There was something special about last night that hasn't quite been as present at the last three or four MSG shows for me. Might be the pride they have in the new record, might be my own enjoyment of it...
not really sure, but, there was a revitalized passion and commitment that spoke more than them just plodding through another mediocre live version of Infallible.

McCready was a man possessed, existing on an entirely different plane for most of the night. Ed had his fumbles, sure, but, that's nothing new. Was in tremendous voice, for the most part. Stone's energy seemed higher than usual.

Overall, just a great night. Shed a tear for young Adam, I believe his name was. A young boy with Autism who lost his Mother just a couple of weeks ago, and who has been bullied so badly that he needed to switch schools. Put a solid lump in the throat of this curmudgeonly old cunt.
