So that's twice now that nuclear weapons have been put on the table.

Chekov's bomb.

because she would wipe out the human race... ? ? They aren't struggling or unhappy, they simply lost their individuality, which all evidence points to being a good thing for all
How are you feeling about this take after that creepy grocery store restocking scene?

I keep wondering about reproduction and the hive mind. I don't think they've addressed this. Do members of the hive mind reproduce? If so, I guess they would pick the most genetically compatible bodies, right? Are babies born with immediate connection to the hive-mind? Are they born with all the knowledge of the human race? I guess they would have to be, otherwise their overwhelming out of control emotions would kill the hive-mind like Carol's tantrums do.

I'd like an extended AU story where a cult believes that Original Sin has been eliminated, but for that to happen we'd need a way for the Hivemind to splinter into factions, probably

Boy, this show is getting inside my mind.

The grocery store scene last week is basically my number one fantasy as an adult.
I’d absolutely ask for heroin, but I wouldn’t flush it. I’ve always said that if I was terminal, I’d want to try it.
Mostly, I loved when she was asking about what her lover thought of her books. It would be torturous, but I’d want to know how certain people really felt about me.

Probably my last post ever on RM, but I’d ask for the names of anyone who had ever thought of me during self-pollution or coitus. I’d also be curious to know whom my wife thought of.

New ep is out early, I guess because Thanksgiving.
Very good episode. My second favorite, after the premiere.
Spoiler: show
- Seehorn is doing such great work here.
- Hilarious that the entire world ghosted Carol.
- The voice on the recording sounds like Howard Hamlin.
- I loved that "filing out of ABQ" sequence.
- Seems a bit obvious, but everything in the episode points to Carol's discovery being that the mystery milk is made out of human bodies. It's foreshadowed pretty heavily with her protectiveness over the wolves potentially eating Helen's remains.

Ugh this ep is too Gilligan for me. A two minute scene of a drone picking up garbage is too tedious.

I loved that scene. I was on the edge of my seat wondering if it would make it!

preferred the previous episode but I liked the little X-Files homages in this one; when she entered the warehouse room with a torch it looked extremely "The Erlenmeyer Flask"

Unimportant nitpick, but it's distracting to me just how obviously the "Paraguayan" guy is actually Colombian. Zero effort to do the accent, lol

So two episodes ago, when Pirate Lady is crashing and they encircle Carol, the woman who asks Carol “Can we save her life?” is an EMT in real life and was the person on the scene who saved Bob Odenkirk’s life when he had a heart attack.

Also when Carol says hi to the mayor of Albuquerque at the grocery store, that guy is the actual mayor of Albuquerque.

We were watching something the other night where characters started speaking Spanish and I started wondering if you’d seen it and what you thought of it. Wish I could remember what it was.

It makes the suspension of disbelief a little hard. My only comparison is when something is set in Buffalo, but people either have a general NYC accent or like in the case of Buffaloed, I had to listen Zoey Deutch do a Chicago accent and call everyone a "jagoff" because she "recorded conversations in a coffee shop in Buffalo" when that is not a Buffalo thing at all.

Probably. Jorge has seen everything that has Spanish speaking in it
