“G.O.D. And The Broken Ribs” sounds like Archbishop Harold Holmes giving lecture.

I think it was okay. All first five songs on it are pretty good but don’t knock your socks off, though they feel like they are really trying to knock your socks off. Attempts a soaring anthems that kind of don’t finish the job. The last song is terrible to my ears, but maybe folks with find the gear shift at least refreshing.
I didn’t hate Days of Ash as much as the rest of you. Again, good songs that had a bite of aggression to them but likely didn’t quite finish the job. The last song again was terrible and the Ed Sheeran guest stunt would have been relevant 10 years ago - it’s like bringing in a 42 year old baseball player to revive your team now when they haven’t had a good season in years.

i didnt hate the other EP either, but i wont be listening to it again. There was a moment were these guys releases were pure gold, even b sides or soundtracks songs.
These two ep show a band really lost trying again to find relevance in sounding like Imagine Dragons or something instead of just work towards a different path of experimentation, something it paid off really well for them in the past.
Stop trying to be number 1 just release whatever motivates you to make music.
Maybe is this? could be yeah. In that sense, well im sorry for them really because this is just lazy and awful.

A new-ish band out of Vermont called Robber Robber just released their second record and it is pretty nice.
After a couple of spins I'm really enjoynig New Year's Eve, Pieces, Bullseye and It's Perfect Out Here In The Sun.

That is how I felt about them circa All That You Can’t Leave Behind. But I do really like Atomic Bomb and No Line on the Horizon.

New Thundercat is good. He's a bit like Mk.gee where songs can be kinda samey but when they pop they pop.
