He's operating on another level. How does he do it

His brilliance is generational. I really hope he can continue doing what he’s doing. He’s mastered so many concepts and moods with his work—between The Curse and his NFY/Rehearsal stuff—that I legitimately don’t know what we could do next. It’s exciting.

I was having some good laughs at this, but I'm not out of season 1, and I'm already getting tired of it.

Ep 3 of season 2 was some kind of masterpiece

I don’t know how to explain it to people who haven’t watched to get them to want to watch without giving away the payoff

I thought it was okay. Didn't laugh very much; the breastfeeding scene was maybe the only big laugh all season for me. I wish the aviation stuff found more of a punchline.

I mean...he is a comedian and usually there is, for lack of a better term, a "punchline" that makes comedy funny, yes. I just don't think the aviation stuff really led anywhere funny. The punchline of the whole season is

, so it's all in service of that instead of actually paying off on its own terms. Like I wish there were a secondary, aviation-specific punchline in addition to the larger, thematic one. For me, the season felt a little listless and meandering because that element is missing.
