By the by, not that anyone really gives a shit, but I listened to the (NPR?) full album stream last week and this shit is bananas. What a great fucking first listen. I can't wait to wrap this fucker around me and really dive in over the next few months. Jesus.

I've just been to my vinyl shop: they have the Deluxe Edition, but I had already ordered a copy through Sub Pop, I hope it will quickly cross the seas.

Still, I bought this French magazine:


There is an interesting interview with Corin and Carrie (done in December), with topics already covered in other published interviews (the reasons behind the hiatus and the "reunion", the recording process), but they mention that they recorded 14 tracks, the 4 ones left aside (as they did not fit the themes or style of the album) will end up as bonus (2 of them are in the Deluxe edition then).

Do B-sides still exist for the remaining 2 tracks?

the new albums only 28? 29? mins long? i get the whole "theme" of the album and what not, but why not just track it 1-10, bonus songs
and make it either a regular cd, or a deluxe with the 4 extra songs for a few extra bucks. Its not like those 2 vinyl only tracks wont be floating all over the net within the next few days anyway.
